Nancy Bombs

You know those types of people that will do anything for some cash? Yeah, Nancy's one of those people. She'll climb the highest mountain, swim the deepest river, and read the nearest book just to make a buck or two. Don't got cash? Count her out. If you're broke, she couldn't care less about your problems. Her sarcastic attitude makes her seem sour and rude to everyone who knows her. They're probably right. But Nancy's got SOME good qualities! She's extremely brave and won't back down from any situation. She's good at using her head and can find a solution for any situation she gets herself into.

Nancy spends her days relaxing in her island hut on Kaching Island, until one day, she saw an interesting TV commercial...

Winston

Oh, how the mighty hath fallen. Winston used to be a man. Not just any man, but a MANLY man. He stormed into the headquarters of the evil Professor Shenannigans to stop his evil rule of their island (just accross from Nancy's home island). Unfortunately for Winston, he wasn't aware of the Professor's little lab assistant. Apparently, she's good at making potions of some kind. Well, by the time he found this out, it was a wee bit too late. He was smacked with a potion bottle right in the chest and he slowly degenerated into the greasy, mangy little bag of fur and flesh he is today! This must've been some strong kind of potion too, because the effects have yet to wear off and no other potions will work on him!

Despite his somewhat grizzly appearance, Winston is a good hearted, if not somewhat creepy, sidekick for Nancy on her journey. She can use him for a variety of things. She can use him as a weapon, she can shove him into small places, throw him up to tall ledges, and all sorts of video gamin' crap.

Slickfingers Sam

You can trust a guy like Slickfingers Sam, right? Just look at that face.

Like Nancy, Sam is just out there to earn a few bucks. UNLIKE Nancy, he's not usually into the whole "FAIRNESS" thing. He'll try to con any lamebrain who stops at his shopstand. It might cost Nancy a few extra coins, but it's always worth checking his stand out for the latest potions, upgrades, special items, and unlockables. Just uh, don't let the authorities get involved, or else there might be an incident that may or may not lead to broken fingers.

Ol' Man Groundhog

Every video game has your move teaching guru. Banjo Kazooie had Bottles, Donkey Kong Country had Cranky Kong. And now, Nancy Bombs has Ol' Man Groundhog (Nancy just calls him Ol' Man). Ol' Man Groundhog lives in a hole underground on Kaching Island, just outside of Nancy's house. He usually keeps to himself. Being old makes ya sort of antisocial, ya see. But, he has a vast amount of knowledge about adventuring and whatnot. Now you may be sayin, "HEY! Here's a nutty idea! Why doesn't HE go stop the evil Professor? Well, he may know about adventuring, but he's not in any shape to leave his house. Plus, he's incredibly lazy. And he complains a lot. Does that sound like a hero to you? No. It doesn't. If you said yes, then shut up. It doesn't.

Ol' Man Groundhog was just-a kickin' back in his underground home when he heard Nancy call out to him. "CHECK THIS OUT! This is my ticket to the BIG TIME!," she screamed as he shuffled out of his hole...

Jerome the Doll Maker *

Jerome comes from an ancient tribe of people who relied on voodoo spells and techniques to keep their civilization safe. Unfortunately, that didn't work out so well. Jerome is the last of his kind. Jerome lives on Broadway Island in his own little hut, where he still makes his voodoo dolls. However, Jerome is not a very good business man. He sold the rights to Slickfingers Sam, who sells the dolls at his shop, while Jerome makes them for no profit. Poor guy. He's a pretty relaxed guy, nontheless.
